Advance 64M
FA 64M card for Gameboy Advance is the cheapest in its FA
family, but there is a price to pay for that :( some of the new
roms like Doom 2, Disney Sports Skateboarding, The Lord of The Rings:
The Two Towers rom (great RPG game), Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance
and some more new games are 128M big so you will not be able to
play them with 64M flash card. Only solution is to save up for the
128M or better get 256M
card that will let you play all upcoming titles! Still if you can
live without playing the games I listed get the 64M GBA Flash Linker
set. (after all ~800 commercial roms + ~2000 freeware
pd roms are 64M or smaller)
Turbo Advance 64M Flash Card
Just like a Memory Stick from Sony, or like a Smart Card or Smart
Media Card you are using for your MP3 Player, it will simply hold
the game data in it's Flash Memory. Once you have sent games, demos
or programs to it's memory using the Flash Advance Linker, it can
simply be plugged into the Gameboy Advance and it will act like
an original game! The Flash Advance 64M will also allow you to store
savegame data. This means once you've opened a lot of levels or
you got some extra points in your game, you won't need to start
from the scratch - it will save the game status just like an original
cartridge with the game. Savegame data can be stored on your local
PC Harddrive too, so you won't loose any data when you are using
the flash card for other games. Flash Advance 64M can be re-written,
feel free to use it how often you want, as said, just like any other
Flash Card on the market (Smart Media, Memory Stick etc.).
Flash Advance 64M card Features:
- 64Mbit flash memory.
- Can store two 32M files on the card.
- re-write game data to the card as often as you like.
- Save games saves to the card.
- Emulates a game cart near perfect.
