 G6flash 3 - Installation
Important:
G6 flash card has been already formatted before shipping out. Normally, users do not need to format the flash card before using. If users need to format the G6flash for maintenance purpose, please format the G6flash wit FAT(16) format. And refer to the procedures listed in the “Maintenance” part of manual.
Operation:
1. Connect/Disconnect G6 U-DISK:
-Connect G6 U-DISK to PC
I. Insert "G6 U-DISK"into G6 U-DISK BURNER.
II. Put "G6 U-Disk BURNER" with ”G6 U-DISK” into the USB port of PC.
(Extension cable can be added if it is necessary.)
I. Insert "G6 U-DISK" into G6 U-DISK BURNER：
II. Put “G6 U-Disk BURNER” with ”G6 U-DISK” into the USB port of PC.
Note:
Please insert “G6 U-Disk” card into G6 USB BURNER before connecting “G6 USB BURNER” to PC.
-Disconnect ”G6 U-DISK” from PC:
I. Left click “Safely remove USB mass storage device drive” icon.
II. Select the option (turn blue), left click it to confirm the operation
III. Pull “G6 U-DISK BURNER” out from the USB port of PC.
IV. Pull “G6 FLASHCARD” out from “G6 U-DISK BURNER”.
I. Left click “Safely remove USB mass storage device drive” icon.
II. Select the option (turn blue), left click it to confirm the operation
III. Pull “G6 U-DISK BURNER” out from the USB port of PC.
A massage “The ‘USB mass storage drive’ device can now be safely removed from the system “ will come out to indicate that the operation is successfully.
Normally, users only need to have the "Main Software" for installing a complete full functional G6 system, device driver is not necessary except the old "Win98" system. An universal device driver for old WIN98 can be found in "Maintenance Utility". A low level format tool is also included into "Maintenance Utility" too.
Main Software:
1) The latest "G6 Flash 3 Loader vXXX" (console)
2) The latest "G6 Flash 3 PC Full Installation vXXX" (PC)
Optioal or Separation Software (ALL included in Full installation):
1) G6 Media_vXXX Cool Movie, Music (Media)
Maintenance Utility: (Maintenance)
1) MPutility (Low level disk format)
2) Universal Win98 driver (Only the old version of Win98 system needs it.)
* (Most of the useful files are also included in our installation disk. However, upgrade the most up-to-date software version will gain the most powerful function of our product.)
Remember that for G6 to work on PC it has to be formatted in FAT and NOT FAT32.
