Neo NDS USB Loader
Neoflash team is developing a USB Loader that will act as a NDS Backup device.
This will help a lot of developers out there to study dumped nds rom images on the PC
for further research. It can also backup your game saves on from NDS Cartridges so
that you wont loose gamesave when using the card to boot another game.
It dumps random data because the DS carts have some type of seeded shifting encryption. It is not clear at this time if this UB Loader will be able to backup commercial nds roms in a form that could be used for playing in emulator or burning to a flash card.
Magic Key and NeoFlash USB Slim Loader is NOT abel to backup Nintendo DS games. Slim loader can be used to backup GAMEBOY ADVANCE games (GBA ROMS) to PC and write backups of gba and nds roms from PC to Neo Flash GBA Card.
Currently 512M and 1Gb Neo Flash Cards are available. On the box it states that NeoFlash will come in sizes from 128Mb to 4Gb. Larger cards like 2Gig and 4G would be useful only when the Neo Team or another developer comes out with a Multi-ROM-Loader. At this point you are able to load only one commercial NDS roms at a time, and as their maximum size is 1GigaBit there is no need for a card larger than that. In fact neo card we have is 512Mb and we also tested 1Gb XG2 turbo with the Magic Key. In both cases most of the card stays empty:
