EZ2 PS Hardware Operation Manual
1. EZ-Writer works with standard USB A-B cable.
ATTENTION,
we don't guarantee that EZ-Writer will work properly when it's
connected to PC via a USB hub so if possible try to connect it
to the PC directly!
2. EZ-Writer will do some initialization work when it's
connected to PC, the
LED on EZ-Writer will turn to red from orange, then when it finish the initialization
and ready, the LED turn to green. If the device driver is not installed properly,
the LED won't light. In this case you should unistall the incorrect drivers
[ Comtrolr Panle > System > Hardware > Device Manager > USB Controllers
> > Right Click on the non-functioning driver and > Uninstall ] Now if
you will reconect the EZwriter to the pc it will ask you for the drivers one
more time.
3. Meaning of the LED of EZ-Writer:
Orange: EZ-Writer is in standby mode or the device is stopped by OS, it's safe
to pull off or plug on the cart.
Red: initializing/reading/writing, don't pull off the cart at this time, or the
data on the cart or the file inyour PC may be damaged.
Green: idle and ready for work, it's safe to pull off or plug on the cart.

4. We won't be responsible for any damage of cartridge or EZ-Writer
caused by operations of any cartridges other than EZ-Cart or
official cartridges on EZ-Writer, and, we also won't be responsible
for any damage of EZ-Cart or other devices caused by operations
of EZ-Cart on any devices other than EZ-Writer or GBA OR GBA
SP. You should be aware of the risk when you do so.
* Using EZ Flash Writer USB you can write GBA roms to the older
GBA Flash cards like XG-Cart 1 and EZ-Cart 1 cart, but the advance
features like setting the clock and date wil not be awailable or
may function incorrectly!
