Q: What's the power supply of EZ Flash?
A: EZ Flash
uses power supply from USB port and no other power supply is needed.
Q:
What's the life of the rechargeable battery in the EZ cart?
A: The life of the built in rechargeable battery
is more than 3 years.
Q: Why can't I write 2 128Mb ROM in my 256Mb EZ
II cart simultaneously?
A: That's because the loader program occupy about
2Mb of ROM in the cart. The net capacity of 256Mb cart is a bit
less than 256Mb. You can try to use the resize
tool to reduce the
size of ROM at first.
Q: What's the function of EZ Loader?
A: You can write several ROMs to your EZ Cart
simultaneously with the help of EZ Loader, else only 1 ROM can
be written to your EZ Cart.
Q: What's the function of Auto Remove Info?
A: Some of
Dumpers add boring advertisement at the beginning of ROM. With Auto
Remove Info you can remove this boring advertisement
from your ROM.
Q: How can I interchange the saver in the EZ Cart with the saver
of Visual Boy Advanced?
A: The EEPROM type saver and FLASH type
saver dumped from EZ Cart can be imported to VBA with the function
of Import Battery File of
the VBA. As for SRAM type saver, you must save the dumped saver
with the filename that same as the ROM and at the same folder as
the ROM file saved. VBA will load the saver automatically when
it loads ROM file then.
EZ Writer can support most of the files generated by VBA, but some
EEPROM type and SRAM type of savers generated by VBA can't be identified
by EZ Writer for the reason of VBA.
Attention: VBA
will write the saver file that it is using when you quit from it.
So it would be better to copy a backup of the saver file before importing
it to VBA.
Q: Why some of the new ROMs can't support Cheat
Function and Soft Reset?
A: Because it will take 1 or 2 days for
the newest ROM to be updated in our database. You can wait 1 or
2 days and then you can update it with Update Data File function.
Q: Where can I get new Cheat Code?
A: You can download the CHT
file with Update Data File function
from our web server and you can also find Cheat Code with EMUCheat
or Visual Boy Advanced by yourself.
Q: Why my GBA goes down when I enable or disable the Cheat Function?
A: That's because you have used the wrong cheat code. You can try
to disable some of the codes to avoid this situation.
Q: Why can't I delete the files in the EZ Cart randomly?
A: There should
be a file system to manage the files if you want to delete the files in the
EZ Cart randomly. The file system is too complicated and will waste the costful
capacity of NOR Flash ROM in the EZ Cart.
Q: Why do I need to install the EZDriver every time under Window XP when
I connect EZ Cart to PC?
A: That's because you didn't install the EZDriver
with the Username of Administrator. You must login as Administrator, install
EZDriver and apply it to every user.
